We have just received confirmation from a family member that
Professor Mabel Kanene Okonjo, mother of the Co-ordinating Minister of the
Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been released.
She was released this morning after intense negotiations over the past
four days. She was was kidnapped from her Ogwashi-Uku home
on Sunday.
